M is for Memorial Linocut Print
Created to coincide with the centenary of the end of World War 1, this handmade print of a village war memorial is one of a series I have been commissioned to produce celebrating the British countryside. It is part of a limited edition run of 50, and is numbered, titled, dated and initialled in pencil by the artist.
Every step in the process of making the linocut, from drawing and designing, to carving and printing, is done by hand by me, and, as such, every linocut in the edition is absolutely unique and may vary ever so slightly from the illustration.
Printed in black vegetable oil based ink on beautiful handmade Somerset 250gsm acid free paper.
Prints are shipped in a sturdy tube within 3 working days using the Royal Mail's Second Class Signed For service within the UK and Airmail internationally.
