D is for Dovecote Linocut Print
This handmade linocut print of a Dovecote is one of a series I have been commissioned to produce celebrating the British countryside. It is part of a limited edition run of 50, and is numbered, titled, dated and initialled in pencil by the artist.
Every step in the process of making the linocut, from drawing and designing, to carving and printing, is done by hand by me, and, as such, every linocut in the edition is absolutely unique and may vary ever so slightly from the illustration.
Printed in black vegetable oil based ink on beautiful handmade Somerset 250gsm acid free paper.
All prints are dispatched within 3 working days in a board backed, protective cellophane sleeve, ready to frame or give as a gift. They are then carefully packed in a rigid mailer and sent by the Royal Mail's Second Class Signed For service within the UK and via Airmail internationally.
