Beetle Linocut Print
I took my inspiration for this handmade linocut print of a beetle from a gorgeous 18th century natural history encyclopedia. It is one of a limited edition run of only 30, and is numbered, titled, dated and signed in pencil by the artist (me).
Every step in the process of making the linocut, from drawing and designing, to carving and printing, is done by hand by me, and, as such, every linocut in the edition is absolutely unique and may vary ever so slightly from the illustration.
Printed in black vegetable oil based ink on beautiful Somerset 250gsm acid free paper.
All prints are dispatched within 3 working days in a board backed, protective cellophane sleeve, ready to frame or give as a gift. They are then carefully packed in a rigid mailer and sent by the Royal Mail's Second Class Signed For service within the UK and via Airmail internationally.
